Review by hotel critic
During our recent stay at the cozy bed and breakfast in Portaferry, we were impressed by the value proposition offered by this establishment. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Tracey, the owner, who made us feel right at home. the room we stayed in was located at the front of the B&B and was impeccably clean and comfortable. We appreciated the quietness of the surroundings, which allowed for a peaceful night's sleep. the private patio area for guests was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy a cup of tea in the mornings. We also took advantage of the bar next door, Fiddlers Green, which offered live music on Saturday night and provided a vibrant atmosphere for socializing with other guests. In terms of dining facilities, we thoroughly enjoyed the hot breakfast served each morning. the full English breakfast was delicious and provided a hearty start to our day of exploring Portaferry and its surroundings. For those looking to engage in outdoor activities, the B&B's proximity to Strangford Lough offered opportunities for beautiful walks, fishing, and even a ferry ride across to explore the Mournes. The overall cost of our stay was reasonable considering the level of service and comfort provided. the value for money exceeded our expectations, making it a worthwhile choice for a short break in Portaferry. We would like to extend our gratitude to Tracey and the staff for their excellent customer service and for making our stay memorable. We are already looking forward to returning in the future.
